It say it is difficult to say how truly touched she was by the graceful, spontaneous, loyal attachment and real affection she-experi-enced ou the completion of her sixtieth year, and it will never be effaced from her heart. It was deep'y gratifying after so many years of labor ami axiety. In weal and woe she- ever had the true sympathy of her people, which she had warmly reciprocated. The letter concludes " I shall ever pray God to enable me to discharge my duties for my people's welfare as long as my life lasts.
