The insurances on Mr Hannah's bouse, destroyed by fire at Kbaudallab last night, are £BOO, and on the outbuildings £IOO, both in the London and Liverpool office. Mr Gaffin's furniture was insured for £7OO in the New Zealand office. Auckland, This day.
A house on the Great North road, owned by Mr Wright ana occupied by Mrs Nankervis, was burned down while the occupants were seeing the illuminations. The origin is unknown. The insurances on the house are £BOO in the South British, and on the furniture £'2oo m the Norwich Union. Dunedin, This day.
The weather is dull and threatening and most of the illuminations have been taken down.
The Ministers attend tbe opening of the Agricultural Show this afternoon. A social will be given at Green Island to Mr Carncross this afternoon.
