Preparations for the Procession.
FiNE WEATHER PROMISED.
London, June 22
The streets of the city were thronged all last night with people anxious to witness the preparations of the procession.
The morning broke fine, and splendid weather seems assured. President McKinley sent a warm letter of felicitation to the Queen, recognising Her Majesty's friendship to America and her love of peace.
Mr Goschen has made arrangements for the colonial troops to witness the naval review.
The Queen has received many cable message of congratulations. The following New Zealanders form part of the Queen's body guard in the procession : Sergt. Sommeiville, Corporal Cardal, and Privates Hazlett and Taranaki.
