(PtT Press Association.—Copyright.) Losnox, June 16. It is now stated that Barney Barnato made three attempts at suicide at Cape Town recently. Sir Gordon Spriggs, Premier of Cape Colony. who was a fellow passenger, cabled the news of the suicide when the vessel "reached Madeira. The profosed .Jubilee illuminations in India have been abandoned, and the money will be devoted to relieving the victims by the recent disastrous earthquakes. June 17. The Queensland loan was successfully floated, the tenders amounting to £5,448,000.
