The Queen's personal escort when she attends the thanksgiving services will comprise members of the colonial troops. Canada, New South Wales, and Victoria will each supply an officer and eight men, New Zealand an officer and four men, South Australia, and the Crown colonies an officer and three men, Queensland and Cape Colony an officer and two men. Sydney, June 17.
The Jubilee preparations are proceeding apace. The city was a brilliant spectacle to-night, testing the illuminations, and all the public and most business places were ablaze with many colored patriotic and fanciful designs.
