THE KECKEATION GROUND

[To The Editor

Sir. —I run p'e.ised indeed to see the enthusiasm that is being displayed over the new recreation ground. I hope, however, that there will be no dissension o/i the question of site. The racecourse is unsuitable in many respects, and it is certain that the Jockey Club will not permit the erection of a fence round the enclosure. All should centre their efforts on obtaining the site near the school ground, which will make an ideal square with plenty of room for sports of every description.—l am, &e., l'r.o Bono Publico.
