Blenbeim, June 10

A boy, 12 years old, only child of Mr J. Addison, Wairau Valley, met with his death while out rabbiting today. A young man out with him heard a shot, followed by a groan, and running across a gully found Addison quite dead, the charge having entered under his arm. The boy is supposed to have slipped on the side of a hill. Wanganui, June 10.

An A.B. named Fell, on the schooner Moana, fell overboard when the vessel was off Waitotara this morning, and was never seen afterwards.

A young girl named Garbus, seven years old, was drowned in the river this morning.
