It is reported that the Greek forces have captured the ruins of N'ikopolis, four miles north of Previsa, and that they are now attacking the latter town by land and sea. May 16. An obstinate but indecisive hand-to-hand engagement between the Greeks and Turks took place at Gabrovo, near Arta. The Greeks had 650 men killed and 28 officers injured.
