Commencing TUESDAY, 27th April, lH97,the Railway Department will undertake to receive on the river bank at Clive goods sent by sea for consignment by railway ; also, goods forwarded by rail to Farndon and consigned to a vessel will be delivered on the river bank at Clive. No charge will be made for cartage between the river bank Clive and Farndon. Owners of gootls are required to make their own arrangements for transport of goods to and from Clive by sea. Consignment notes are required for goods forwarded from Clive, railage to be paid in accordance with railway usage. Railage on goods consigned to Farndon for shipment at Clive must be prepaid.
