This Judgment was given by Mr Bishop, S.M., to-day in the Sydenham sewage cases. The informations were dismissed, with the costs to be settled later on. The Magistrate held that no statutory nuisance was caused by the working of the department. As to the nuisances from the sewers and the effects of the scheme on the sewage system, the Court had no jurisdiction.
