Probasco's Circus.

A SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE. The high opinions expressed by the Press in various parts of the colony where Probasco's Circus has appeared was fully demonstrated last night by the excellent programme which was presented to the large and appreciative audience present. The tent accommodation is all that can be desired, while the h^i:t!!:•_• is the best we have had the pleasure of seeing. I.ittle Miss Amy Ks telle was undoubtedly the gem of the evening, her acrobatic and aerial performances being accomplished With a grace and ease rarely found in one go young. The •' double-dislocation act" crowned all her previous efforts, and must rank her as one of the cleverest little ladies in the show line. The Australian Nugget*, lads of about eleven to thirteen year* of age, are well-named, and are really m tclass acrobats and horsemen, and elicited rounds of applause for their wonderful agility in their ground and lofty tumbling. Miss Emery's skipping rope dance was a diversion, and much appreciated, while her balancing and contortion act was very clever. The Sssttis Leon were exceptionally good m tht ir Ohiupian performances, and are elumed so be the only ladies in the colony capable of undertaking such a feat. Madame Probaseo. in her three-horse pictorial performance, was good, and handled In r three chargers with much skill. The hi,r-i under the able tuition of Mr Pri;ba*co did all that was required of them, and fi,ll\ sustained the high reputation that w< nth-man lias gained as an educator of the horse.
