[By Telegraph.] (P er Press Ax-fjriation.) Dlnedin, This day. The examination of Mr MacKenzie commenced at the Supreme Court this morning, and will last the entire day. Mr Solomon, assisted hv Mr Brent, represents the liquidators; Mr W. C. MacGregor watches on behalf of the shareholders' committee: MrHosking represents Mr Mackenzie. Mr Sim applied to appear and watch in the interest of Mr Ryley, but the Judge said there was no reason at that juncture for him doing more than to suggest questions to the Liquidators' Council. Mr Solomon's examination, which i - very searching, is directed to showing that as early as IHBo the management of the Bank failed to make proper provision for bad or doubtful debts.
