SCINDIi 11. v. COUNTY 11. The above match was commenced on the Recreation Ground, Napier, yesterday afternoon. The wicket was in splendid order, but the display of batting, with one or two exceptions, was very poor. Ht'inde won the toss and elected to bat, and were not disposed of until the score had reached 109. .Reed 22, Cooper 17, Williamson ir>, and Wilson 18 were the most successful with the bat ; and Macrae (") wickets for 1"> runs) and l>oyd (/» for r>B) with the ball.
