Fisher came out with an average of nine wickets for 50 runs. Otago started badly, Baker being out lirst ball. The total was raised to 1-19, but at one time it seemed likely that the local men might suffer an innings defeat. •Johnson 82, Clarke 19, Kinvig 15, Spraggon 29, and Austin 11, were the principal scores. Lewis six for 87, and Miller three for 42, were the successful bowlers. Requiring 49 to win, the Queenslanders went in af 5.10, and got the required number for the loss of two wickets. Bradley made 18 before he was bowled, and Donahoo was not out with 28. Fisher's one wicket cost 28 runs, and Kinvig's 20.
