MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close for the under-mentioned places as follows : For Auckland, overland, Monday and Thursday. '2 p.m. For Wellington and South, daily, 11 a.m. NEW YKAII S DAY. New Year's I>ay will be observed as a close holidays by the I'ostal 1 .ranch. and mails which would otherwise close on that day will be closed at 8 p.m. on the 31st. For telegraphic purposes the office will open from 9 to 10 a.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. fcj. F. Haszard, Postmaster.
