The Spaniards captured *2OO rebels and imprisoned them in an old di-:-tise«l powder tn.igaztiK. During the night a heavy .-iiowcr of rain came on and a sentinel closed the large ventilator jn the roof. The relieving sentinel neglected to reopen it. and -~>H prisoners were asphyxiated.
