A LAD DELIBERATELY SHOT AT. [By Telegraph] (I'er Press Association.) Duxkdin, Dec. 13. Louis Parlett, living at Gr°en Island, deliberately shot James Ai'Tvor, aged 14 years, in one of his legs. The hoy went up to the honse in which Parlett and two others were sitting, and peering through the window, said, " Hallo long fellow." Parlett seized a single-barrelled shot gun, and saying, " I'll put bullet or shot through him," tired, the shot lodging in the boy's leg. ho far only three pellets have been extracted. The boy is at present in no danger. Parlett has been arrested. This day. Louis Parlett was committed for trial at the Police Court for shooting with intent at the lad M'lvor.
