'By tiirsv GraM'. Mr Gollan's Tire arrived at Auckland yesterday. The gelding is engaged in the Northern Derby. Mr Douglas's brood mares Uira. dam of Kapua. and riianix died at Te Mahar.ga last week after foaling. Mr Douglas has been extremely unfortunate with his mares this season, particularly by the loss of IJosefeldt. My selections for to-morrow's Feilding races are :—Flying—Aphony or Sedgebrook. Hurdles Prairie Grass. St Andrew's Handicap—Barshot or Golden Plover. Hack Hurdles—Venture. Hack —Slumber. Kiwitea Handicap—Douglas or The Miser. Back Flying—Calmanne.
