Tregear, Secretary of the Labor Department, has had a special decoration of "'Officer D'Academic" conferred on him by the French Government as a mark of appreciation of his scientific work. 31. Powtoki de Montalk,Professor of Foreign Language at Auckland University, is the recipient of a similar honor.J
