Curious Consistency.
[By Telegraph.] [Special to Standard.] Wellington, This Day. Mr S. Carnell, who is the father of the anti-totalisator crusade, showed his consistency yesterday by introducing to the Colonial Secretary a deputation comprising Messrs H. P. Cohen and Binnie, who asked that two permits be issued for the Town and Suburban Racing Club. Mr Carroll agreed to grant one permit.
