GENERAL BUSINESS. [By Telegraph.] [Special to Standard.] Christchurch, This day. At a meeting of the New Zealand Cycling Union permits for bicycle races were granted to Oamaru, Waverley, Woodville, and Feilding. The mile record of 2min. 7 8-sth sees., made by T. Clarkson, was passed. Correspondence was received from the league of Victorian Wheelmen, asking the Union to send delegates to the Australian Conference, Proposals were received from Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia re vital matters affecting race meetings. The Wellington Club has affiliated with the Union,
