Supposed Suicide.
ANOTHER VICTIM TO MADNESS. [By Telegraph.] [Special to Standard.] Ciiristcht-kcii, This flay. Charles Hillard P;: rker, commission agent and bailiff for many years in Christchurch, was found dead in his office last night. He had apparently poisoned himself, though there were no traces of poison about the place. A letter in his pocket addressed to his wife read as follows " This is the best thing for me. I am mad. Signed, Hillary."
