THE ADELAIDE HOSPITAL.
FRICTION AMONG THE DOCTORS. THE JUNIOR DOCTORS GO OUT ON STRIKE. Adelaide, This day. Further trouble has arisen at the hospital. On a patient being admitted suffering from absytsis, Dr Napier stated that it was unnecessary to treat him immediately. Professor Watson, the honorary consulting surgeon, ordered I)r Moule, one of the Junior resident doctors, to treat the patient, and he did so. This was reported to Dr Napier, who ordered Dr Moule to discontinue attendance in that ward. Subsequently the junior resident doctors resigned in a body. The Hospital Board then had a meeting and suspended the juniors pending an inquiry.
