A Feminine Parliament.
"A Fein." i u P irlirment " is the title of an a: 'he Globe on the. Woman's Cot a tin. on which recently met in Chr: lrib It gives a brief and sufficiently readable account of what took place on the occasion, and, of course, kughs good-naturedly over the ambitions and aspirations of New Zealand political women. The resolution passed, " that in all cases where a woman elects to superintend her household and to be the mother of children, there shall be a law attaching a certain just share of her husband's earnings or income for her separate use, payable, if she so desires, into her own separate account,'' it styles " audacious," and says that it has " a strong flavor of the new woman " about it. With regard to the question of sitting on juries, men, it truly remarks, will gladly give women their places in the jury box. For the rest, the article is merely a description of what took place at the convention, and is not interesting.
