Te Anau will not arrive at Napier till Monday, leaving same day for Northern ports. The s.s. Tasmania is due to-morrow morning from south, and leaves again for Northern ports and Sydney. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, August 19. Sailed—Flora, for Gladstone. She took 8866 sacks of Firth's pumice stone for the Gladstone freezing works. The following message was received from Cape Maria Van ltiemari to-day:— *4 A man-o'-war (probably H.M.S. Rapid) is hove-to about two miles off Cape Ilegina. She appears to have been flashing signals, but we could not understand them. A strong south-west gale is blowing, and a heavy sea running."
