* THE AUCKLAND MINES. Special to Standard. Acckland, July 17. In the Bunker's Hill claim the reef cut in the No. 2 level shows gold freely. The stone from the Hauraki North, C'oromandel, recently cut in the new level, yielded on assay the following phenomenal result : Gold, 4lHozs 2dwts 14grs to the ton, and silver, 17t>ozs Bdwts to the ton. The total value of bullion from this claim is £1771 10s. IN VE R CAI{ GILL, July 17. J. R. Wilson, a married man with a wife, living at Temuka, was committed for trial on a charge of bigamy. He married a young woman at Invercargill a year ago.
