KIRBY IN COURT.
COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. [By Telegraph.] [Spkcial to Standard.] Wellington, This Day. After hearing the evidence of Colonel Hume yesterday, Kirby was committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court. The hearing of the charge against Bassett was postponed until Wednesday next, bail being allowed in two sureties of £2OO each.
