Asiatics Restriction Bill.
[By Telegram.] [Spf.cial to Standard.] Wellington, This Day. The Trades and Labor Council at its meeting last night passed resolutions upholding the stand taken by the Government with regard to the Upper House over the Asiatic Restriction Bill, and making the suggestion that the term of Legislative Council members should only be for five years.
