Midas and Booties paced together over a couple of miles, the latter going strongest at the finish, and looking very fit. Light brushed over a couple of miles with a heavy weight up. Mystical put in good work over a couple of miles finishing strong. Zanzibar put in steady work. The Miser and Steel King were worked together, the latter does not appear to like the mud, and at one part was almost down. Kauri Gum was at home in the mud. Forty Winks was paced over a couple of miles, and being a big horse is not at home in the mud. Lighthouse was put over the big country and took the jumps very well. The son of Gladiator will be handy at the finish of the Hunt Cup. Drury Lane and Kainbow were associated in a two mile go. The latter holding his companion safe. Prairie Grass put in useful work.
