A BRILLIANT METEOR.

PECULIAR PHENOMENON. Sydney, -June 20. A peculiar phenomenon was witnessed at Moree, where a large and intensely brilliant meteor fell. The night was rendered bright as day while it lasted, and its appearance was followed by three distinct shocks accompanied by rambling sounds as of earthquakes. Other districts had similar experiences.
