Special prayers were offered up in the Transvaal churches for the recovery of President Kruger's wife, who is seriously ill. A movement is on foot in the Rand to collect sufficient funds to add a wing to the Johannesburg hospital to mark the gratitude of the residents at the clemency extended to the Reformers.
