TRAINING NOTES. [By Gipsy Gp.anli.] The usual number of horses were on the track this morning. Hopeful, Otaier:. Forty Winks, a 11J Cleve were set at the steeplechase course. Gtiri pulled out the first round. Forty Winks antl Hopeful finishing in good style. Solitaire andOtaieri were associated over the schooling fences, the Australian-bred mare moving in great style. Moore, the Australian jockey, was in the saddle on Hopeful this morning, and the son of Puriri negotiated the big country better than he has ever done before. A number of others were restricted to gentle exercise.
