CAPTAIN RUSSELL AT JOHNSONVILLE.
[Special to Standard.] (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) Wellington, This clay. Captain Russell addressed a meeting of electors at Johnsonville last night, and at the conclusion of the address a motion as follows "was passed : That a hearty vote of thanks be given Captain Russell for his address, and that this meeting views with satisfaction the endeavours of Opposition members to affect a pure administraof the colony's interests.
