MATCH AGAINST YORKSHIRE. ANOTHER WIN FOR THE AUSTRALIANS. London, May 2G. The Home team continued theirlk first innings. The wicket was much w cut up, and accounted in a degree for the collapse of the Homo team. m With five wickets down for 8G on the first day's play, the Yorkshire men continued their innings, which closed for 118. The second innings produced 13G, the Australians thus winning by an innings and eight. Jones created great havoc with the ball, and Giffen was also in good form. The attendance was very large, the gate money for the match amounting to £1250. The Yorkshire team has hitherto been playing brilliantly, and has not yet been beaten by any county. The next match commences at Manchester to-day against a team representing Lancashire County. Five matches have now been played, three being won by the Australians and two were drawn.
