London" May 23. Mr Chaplin's Agricultural Rating Bill has passed through Committee. Obstruction was offered by a few Radical and Irish members, and several scenes took place in the House, Mr Sloyd-George (Caonaovon), MiLewis (Flint), Mr Dillon, Dr Tanner (Cork), and Mr D. Sullivan (Wesfcmeath), being eventually suspended for defying the chair. Mr Michael Davitt, Mr Jas. O'Connor (West Wicklow) and Mr Macaleese (Monaghan) and were removed by the Sergeant-at-Arms for refusing to vote.
