Nomination 20s, acceptance 10s. Three-quarters of a mile. 2. 12.15 p.m.—First Hurdle Handicap. of 50SOVS ; second horse to receive iosovs from the stakes. Nomination 255, acceptance 30s. One mile sixty-five chains. 3. 1 p.m.—Otaki Plate Handicap, of 160 sovs ; second horse to receive 20SOVS, and third horse to receive iosovs from the stakes. The winner of any race (after the declaration of weights) of the advertised value of 2--,sovs or over to carry a penalty of y\b. Nomination 50s, acceptance Gos. One mile and a-half. —lu:n:ch—4. 2 p.m.—Second Hurdle Handicap, cf 3osovs ; second horse to receive ssovs5 sovs from the stake;'. Weights declared after first hurdles are run. Acceptance at the scales within 15 minutes after the Otaki Plate is run. Nomination 15s ; acceptance 15s. One Mile. 7. 4.15 p.m.—Stewards' Stakes Handicap, of 70SOVS ; second horse to receive sscvs from the stakes ; winner of ttial to carry a penalty of 51b ; winner of Otaki Plate to carry a penalty of xolb ; should same horse win Trial and Otaki Plate, to carry a penalty of iolb only. Nomination 30s, acceptance 30s. One mile and a quarter. Stakes Paid in Full. Dates of Nominations, Weights, and Acceptances. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Xo entry shall be received for arn race except upon the conditions that al claims, disputes, and objections shall b< decided by the Stewards, or whom the,i may appoint, and their decisions upon al points shall be final. 2. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of =£2, which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest is noi sustained. o. All nominations, entries, and accept ances, accompanied by the necessary amount ill cash, must be addressed ant" delivered to the Secretary, Otaki, not latei than the advertised time of closing, witl: performance, pedigree, and colours of the rider. 4. No entry will be received tinder any pretence whatever after the hour named. 5. All races shall be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 6. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. 7. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the day of meeting, the amount of added money, to make any addition or alteration to the meeting at any time prior to the nominations becoming clue for such meeting, subject to the approval of the Wellington Eacing Club. 8.
