The two boys named Cathro and Needham, who stole £55 from the office of Mr Young, solicitor, were before the Court to-day. The charge was dealt with summarily at Mr Young's request and the boys reinainded for the report of the prohibition officer. News has been received here that G. Keyworth, chief officer of the "W ainui, fell off the Greymonth wharf last night as the steamer was leaving for Westport and was drowned. He had been on the steamer live years. He leaves ft wife and four children here.
