THE SITUATION IN CUBA.
AUTONOMY MUST BE GRANTED Madrid, May 12. The Premier admits that the Cuban rebellion must result in autonomy being granted. Mere x-eforms would be useless. The United States Government agaiix demands an indemnity for the planters. The Spanish Council will finally determine the sentence of the prisoners.
