Mails close for the under-mentioned places as follows: For Auckland, overland, Monday and Thursday, 2 p.m. Supplementary San Francisco Mail.— As tliere is a likelihood that letters via New Plymouth will catch the Mail steamer at Auckland, a supplementary mail will close at 2 p.m. Thursday. For Wellington and South, daily, 11 a.m. For India, China, Japan, United Kingdom, &c., via Naples, Friday, May 15, 11 a.ni.; due London, July 1. For Australian Colonies, Friday, May 15, 10 a.m. For Gisborne, Auckland, and Australian Colonies, Friday, May 15, 4.30 p.m.
