No entry sha.ll l>o received for any race except upon tlie conditions that all claims, disputes, aud objections shall bo decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decisions upon all points shall be final. 2. All protests must ho accompanied with a deposit of .£2, which sum shall be forfeited to the lauds if the protest is not sustained. o. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed anil delivered to the Secretary. Otald, not later than the advertised time of closing, with performance, pedigree, and colours of the rider. 4. Xo entry will be received under any pretence whatever after the hour named. 5. All races shall bo run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 6. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. 7. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the day of meeting, the amount of added money, to make any addition or alteration to the meeting at any time prior to the nominations becoming due for such meeting, subject to the approval of tlio Wellington Racing Club. 8.
