AN EXCITING FINISH

Sydney, May 10. Miss Nunneley beat Miss Loo in the Ladies' Singles Handicap by two points to one. She also beat Miss Shaw.in the Open Singles by two to IoYC. In the Intercolonial Doubles Colquhoim and Miss Shaw beat Parker ami Miss Nunneley by two to one. In the Intercolonial Doubles the clashing play of the New Zealanders was loudly applauded, especially that of Miss Nunneley, who at times electrified the spectators with her brilliant strokes. Although the visitors -;Ot away with a start the local pair rapidly gained on them. An analqsis of the sets show : New South Wales 1G wins, New Zealand IS. On the last set twelve games were played before victory was gained.
