The result of the election yesterday will no doubt meet with general approval—had it resulted either way the citizens would have had reason to be satisfied, excepting ol course for the diffeience which the Harbor Board seat makes. It was pleasing to see the high tone which prevailed during the contest. Though we supported the candidature of Captain Tucker, the successful candidate, it must be admitted that Mr DeLautour acted, throughout in the most commendable manner,
