LATER.

THE MOB LOOTING IN THE CITY. CONGREGATION OF SCUM. DISPERSION OF THE ANARCHISTS. London, Oct. 24. The unemployed looted a baker’s shop in Picalilly, but dispersed before any further mischief was done. A large number of criminals, agitators, and foreign anarchists are flocking from all parts of the Provinces to join in the unemployed demonstrations. Ths unemployed leaders declare that London unemployed will be reinforced by hundreds of their brethren from the Provinces.

There is still great excitement, and the property-owners are very anxious as tc the safety of their goods.

There is more reliance in the city police since the re-organisation in connection with late riots. The taunts then thrown at them have had a wholesome effect.

The excitement prevailing has given oppor. tunity for much petty thieving, an 1 those who do not fear any considerable outbreak are greatly troubled by m<»n ras als. Great preparations are heing made for the proposed procession to-day, flags with most radical if not rebellious mottoes thereon being all ready for the bearers, and an organised programmi has been cut out.
