A Terrible Death.

Gbxtmoutk, last night.

A terrible death occurred here on Thursday of a young man man named J. Eltringham. While working on a bridge at the Arnold river he tripped on the staging, and fell a distance of over 40 feet. The body was swept into the Grey river, and when recovered it was found that Eltringham had smashed his skull. Death must have been instantaneous. At the inquest a verdict i( Accidental Death ” was returned. Deceased was 19 years of age.
