The monthly meeting of the Gisborne School Committee was held last night. Present: Messrs D. Johnston (chairman), Taylor, Hall. DeLautour, Cannon, W. Morgan, and Lewis. It was decided to apply to the Board for the appointment of another pupil teacher. It was also agreed to ask Mr Ormond and Captain Rusael to support Mr Graham in getting the Gisborne High School Bill through the House this session. A vote of thanks to Madame DeCosta was passed for her donation to the school funds.
