Anonymous Scribblers.

[To THB EDITOR.! Sib,—Mr McDonald’s outspoken and manly statements have occasioned him to be attacked by anonymous scribblers—things who are afraid to affix their signatures to their pennings. I, myself, at one time, had occasion to run a paper in which some 0/ Mr McDonald’s actions were attacked. Since then I have had reason to take a clearer view of his politics, and so far as I can see he is the only one who fairly and straightforwardly deals with the present political crisis. Do not you permit the electors to be led astray by the captious articles published in your contemporary. Use your pen to show how fraudulent the statements are.—l am etc, J. G. Hbndebson, Formerly Editor of the Standard and part Editor of Facts.
