ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF EAST COAST. Gisborne, Sept. 1, 1887, In pursuance of the “ Regulations of Eleclions Act,” 1881, I, Jambs Booth Returning Officer tor the Electoral District o: East Coast, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 26th of August under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, ar Election will be held for the return of on: qualified person to serve as Member for th: said Electoral District, and that the Nomina tion of Candidates will take place at th Court House, Gisborne, at Noon, on SATUB DAY, 17ih September’ 1887; and that th: Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the Pollin, places of the said district on MOMDAY, th 26th day of Sej. um'uer, 1887. The following are the Polling-places for th Electorial district of East Coast :—

NOTICE r TIHE Partnership hitherto existing between EDWARD FFBANCIS WARD and JOSEPH CRESSWELL, carrying on business in Gisborne and Napier as Barristers and Solicitors, under the firm of Wabd & Cbbsswexj. has this day been finally dissolved by notice. Pending the appointment of a Liquidator, or other arrangement, all persons indebted to the late firm are cautionedjiagainst paying any m oney due to the said firm to any person without my written consent.
