Gisborne, Sept. 1, 1887, In pursuance of the “ Regulations of Eleclions Act,” 1881, I, Jambs Booth Returning Officer tor the Electoral District o: East Coast, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 26th of August under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, ar Election will be held for the return of on: qualified person to serve as Member for th: said Electoral District, and that the Nomina tion of Candidates will take place at th Court House, Gisborne, at Noon, on SATUB DAY, 17ih September’ 1887; and that th: Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the Pollin, places of the said district on MOMDAY, th 26th day of Sej. um'uer, 1887.
