NEW HEBRIDES QUESTION
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT. _ London, August 31. The Paris newspaper Le Pays” announces that an agreement has been,, arrived at by the Government of France and Great Britain with reference to the control of the New Hebrides. By the terms of thia agreement the Islands are to be placed under a combined marine force. The Flag will be the tricolour under a red ensign—this being a concession to " Australian yelping ” on the subject.
