Ws are not quite so far down yet, but may b> very soon if J.P. ships are lavished on all and sundry:—Says the Western Grazier —“ It is about time some alteration was made in the laws which allow a Queensland J.P., who is working for a roadside pub at 20s a week and tucker, to sign a warrant for tho arrest of a respectable citizen."
