The Langworthy Case.

THE INJURED WIFE GETS JUSTICE AT LAST. London, July 17. Mrs Langworthy, whose case has excited so much interest since it was taken up by the Pall Mall Gazette, has been Ll2OO a year, or L 27,000 hard cash, and her child L5OO a year. [Note.—This case has been the sensation of London for some time past. Tha husband of Mrs Langworthy was a well-known and wealthy yachtsman who attempted to ruin his wife before marriage, and then went through a bogus marriage with her in Paris. They were afterwards legally married, but immediately after the ceremony the woman ‘was taken by her husband on his yacht to South America, and treated her with the moat inconceivable brutality. After sending his wife home to England in a cargo steamer without a penny, Langworthy remained in South America, and refused to contribute to her support, his lawyers at home meanwhile raising every obstacle to the poor woman's obtaining justice. Under the title of “ A True Story, or the Langworthy Romance ” the Pall Mail Gazette published her history the result being that L2OOO was raised to help her, in a week. A new action was the n brought with the result recorded this morning. Langworthy is related to more than one English noble family.]
